Inquisitor Coteaz

Probably one of the most inspiring models I've seen GW come up with in a good long time. Lots of drama and narrative in his pose. I decided to do him in a significantly different style from the version in the codex; The design on his breastplate was inspired (oddly enough) by the floral pattern on a waitress' outfit in a chinese restaurant. I also attempted to paint up the Daemonhammer as a diegetic (in-picture) light source. Let me know if I've succeeded? Cheers Kenf

Amazing. I especially like the design on the breastplate. The blue on the legs and loincloth are nice too.

It's really nicely done. What fails to convince me 100% about the lighting is that a) as another poster mentioned, the blue light doesn't affect the rest of the model enough (the eagle's chest feathers, the gargoyle statue, the skull on his belt buckle, etc.) and b) that the areas lit by the hammer aren't lit by the ambient light that affects everything else.
