It really was a pleasure to paint this mini, but the cast was not as good as my Samurai was. Anyway the base was build as if the bridge is floating over the water. In the water there are some fish, I dunno if you can see it...:( Comments very welcome!!!

Shades
This piece is strangely underrated. The composition is wonderful - creative and balanced. And using the Asian pot for the base is very clever -- love the lily pads. The pattern details on the fabric and fan are coherent with the taste, mood, and scale of the figure, without being overstated. My only complaint is that the base colors lack depth. Some washes and glazes would help there, I think.
