Chaos Nurgle Daemon Prince
Hello, THis model I have painted for auction. It's a well painted nurgle daemon prince (I think it's well painted!) . This model, I was told by GW, is not available now (probably by direct order though) in stores. It was released during the last 40K campaign (cities of death) and is a beautiful nurgle model. It was sculpted by Seb Perbet, based on his own custom made daemon prince some years ago (he was then hired by GW I believe). I have done a slight mod to this model by making a tentacle arm and adding power cables going into it. As well, I may enhance the model more by adding some pimples/warts to the tentacle arm as right now it doesn't have them; and I figure a few more of those will make it even more nurgle. (probaly should have remembered to do that before!!!) THe model was painted with glazing techniques, so the paint job is quite smooth (compared to my older works) with some nice blends. It's hard to see, but the weapon has many glazes of several colours to give it a darker, dirty look. The base was custom made with apoxysculpt with a rock added. It has a nurgle symbol (with cracks) carved/sculpted into it as the demon prince walks over it. THis was to make a nicer base for a nicer painted model and to allow it to fit better. THe base it comes with is a terminator base, which is WAY to small for this. a large base would be better. THis model is perfect for a nurgle chaos 40K army or just to keep if you are someone who buys painted models to have from various armies. Hope you like it... Thanks everyone for tips. BTW: Vincent, if you read this...still working on more practice of the glazing you taught us. Damn it takes time!!! :D
