Try applying gloss over the armor for a laquered look. The clothes are too shiny, on the other hand. The flesh tone is ok, but you need to thin your paint a bit to get a smoother finish.
The stains on the sword have to go.

When i see only 1 painted mini from you two, then whe are in equal conditions of judging and correcting styles of paint.
