Carnifex

The miniature was painted the way Phil Kelly (Tyranid codex author) is known for. It is just black undercoat with a simple colour scheme and a glossy varnish. So keep this in mind when you rate;-)

Thank you for your comments and nice ratings:-) I didn't show this miniature because I think it is so well painted. What I personally like about it is that very good effects can be reached with simply using bright colours on glossy black. I suppose, that many noobs or people who lack time are looking for ideas here and these simple-style-paintings may be more achievable and motivating than Golden Demon quality entries.

i really like the color scheme, but u really need smoother blendings and theres a lack of highlights.the contrast between the base and the minis is good, but the bases need some extra details.and u should thin down ur paints^_^

nice color blending with the browns, i'd suggest maybe painting some of the other details on the legs, but if your going for simple but good, i'd say great job.
