Mercenary Knight
I liked the Don Quixote look. A long time ago at a convention I played a fighter that looked a lot like this. Most memorable line: "Uh, grandpa, did you want to bring your sword with you or anything?" I had misread the character sheet, and mistook his weapon information for what he was carrying. In the spirit of roleplaying, I replied "Well, sonny, in my day, we didn't need armor or anything. But, to make you feel better, I'll go get my sword." That'll teach me to casually glance over a character sheet . . . .
