chained succubus

i still paint! and i've been practicing. i am in desperate need of practice on subtle flesh tones and faces, and what better way to practice than on a half naked temptress? i settled on the model because it was a relatively new take on an old theme, and the smooth surfaces seemed ideal for practicing blending. about bits: the red hair was a first for me, and i wanted it to be a bit surreal. to achive this i used my standard techniques but upped the contrast. i think it came out ok. the skin took a lot of work, but i finally feel like i got somewhere with it in tems of realism and smoothness. the wings were a total experiment and changed dozens of times. in places i like 'em a lot, not so much in others. while i tried new techniques i stuck to a tried and true color palate, and im satisfied with the overall aesthetic. i was a little apprehensive about the large spread here, but i couldnt decide which way to go, so i threw them all in. it works out though because im really looking for some advice to improve here, and the more paint for your peepers the better. you've heard my comments, now id like to hear yours. enjoy.

Very nice ... one of these days I will be as good as you :) I really like her eyes. I have a lot of trouble with those myself.

I have to give a nine here because the mini is underrated. I think you did a pretty good job at her. The hair, the face and the wings look great. Only thing which could be improved is the shading of the skin I think. The Skintone itself looks pretty nice but it needs more depth.
