Halfling with Axe

This little halfling was given to me by a friend when he heard I had gotten back into miniature painting. Definitely high on the cute factor, although I imagine that axe has turned a few humans or orcs into eunuchs! The basing material is dried, ground kale - a bit of an experiment, but I think it produces a very nice green. Hope you like him, and comments welcomed.

Nice job! There's a lot of character in the face, and I think the brown jerkin turned out really nicely. Cloak looks good too.

This is a great mini and a wonderful paint job! I love the colors, subdued earthy tones and reddish tinge to the brown hair is great. I don't know if most people realize how small this little Tom Meier figure actually is! This was when 25 mm really meant that, and this is an itty bitty hobbit. Great job and nice eyes on the figure too!
