High Elf Noble with standard (or flag)

I've never painted a plastic mini before, let alone a mini from Games Workshop. Painting plastic is not bad. Will have to do it again. I painted it right on the sprues. Is that what you're supposed to do with plastic minis? Painted March 2008

Veggiemanuk, Thanks for the constructive advice. "Faces and Bases" ! I never heard of that, and I think it will stay in my mind from now on.

A Good try indeed. A few things let this one down, the base is bare -2 points for that, you realy need a base so show off this one. Just remember the frase "Faces & Bases" as these are the two most importand areas to get right. The banner is nicely done, you just need to get your hand stedier by the looks of things as there are a few untidy areas. I know fine detail IS a pain in the backside so -1 point for that. The other two points are for lack of adequate shading leaving this as Good Tabletop Quality. Dont paint on the sprue as it gives you more work to do once you are finished, better to clip all the peices off and clean then ready for painting. If you want to reach every peice of your mini to paint it then you will need to paint the peices seperatly otherwise build the mini and paint oit in one go. Hope that helps.
