"Subject 42 has escaped"
Hi folks... this is my latest little project. This is my take on this lovely resin mini from Kraken which I was lucky enough to get off Jeremie B at GD Spain back in February. This was one of those great moments when you see a mini and it just instantly inspires you and you know exactly how to base and paint it up. I had this idea of the huge-armed freak being a test subject in a secret military bio-tech lab and finally having had enough of the testing and mutilation... so he's turned on his captors and escaped. The pipes and the shackles were added by me. This is my first use of Vallejo paints to try and get better skin tones and I'm really happy with the way it's come out, especially the darker more raw, swolen look to the mutant arm.
