Ronin,
I felt as though it gave more of a streamlined look to the Helms, and I had converted the head to make it look a bit more "Buisness like"
Kier, Thanks for the tip I took grey stone and glued it on the base, then primed black, but it does look a little flat there,
And I thought the green was right for plants first sprouting, But I shall work on it, Thanks for the Tips
It's a decent enough paintjob and nice basing, but i really don't like that the aerials are missing from the crisis suit's helmet.
Any particular reason you did that?
i really like the color scheme, and the stance of the crisis suit, i like how you captured the movement in its strides. and the basing is very good for a first go. i have done snow bases 3 different ways. the first two were not that good but here is how i do mine.,,, first i glue down the rock texture sand. then i paint the whole thing codex Grey, then i dry brush it with fortress,,, and then i give a last and final dry brush using white, just skimming it lightly so it is just visible.
OK now for the snow, i paint thick patches of white paint on the places i want to glue the snow on. i use the static snow made by GW.
great looking unit, but the only thing i would change is the green static grass. i think it don't look normal, but good work 8/10
