Tara the Silent

My first attempt (other than some basic stuff about 12 years ago). Painted using Apple Barrel paint from Wal Mart. (They're a cheap solution for now) I know the photo's aren't the best. Tips or hints are appreciated. Thanks

Nice job ... I've done this miniature also. Had a difficult time finding a good angle to take a picture from: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/NilocPaints/Reaper/2021_front.jpg . Keep painting, post often

Very nice for a first mini. I suggest that you give the base a light drybrush of a lighter colour and maybe use a bone colour for blond hair instead of yellow. Keep it up :)

I agree with Gin.... Thin your paints and read the tutorials. You might also look into some model specific paints. In my experience they're easier to work with and much nicer to thin. Color selection is good, but everything looks unhighlighted/shaded. Very clean job tho' so mad kudos to you there.
