Large Undead Dog/Dragon

This is a conversion of a small plastic skeletal dog from a Skeleton Warriors toy into a Large Undead Dragon or beast of some sort. It is roughly 2 inches tall. I used some regular cheap epoxy stuff from Wal-Mart to make the base (yes I know, the base really sucks) and add some bits of flesh, eyes, etc.. to him. I also made some guts for him but they don't really show up in the pictures due to them being a lighter color than they should be. I plan on improving it but would like to hear some suggestions. Im still learning a lot about painting so I appreciate any comments. A link to the best place to purchase painting supplies would also be nice. I am thinking of adding pupils to the eyes instead of them being glazed over to add a sense of a more malevolent presence. What do you think?

Yeah, that optic nerve on the hanging eye is pretty intense. I'd shorten it; it looks anatomically impossible...

Oops, I meant collar, not color.

In retrospect I think I should trim off the color as well. I may also get rid of the hanging eyeball or perhaps add it as a base prop (IE: it fell out a moment ago), with a much shorter stem attached.
