This is my very first attempt at painting a miniature so don't be too harsh. xP Comments, critiques, and suggestions are very appreciated. :3 Yes, I know the picture is horrible. I'm uploading another image of it, currently.

I think MrPie is right, you probably need to use thinner paint (like milk) and apply two or three coats. It takes a while to figure out how much your paints need to be diluted because they are all slightly different (khaki seems to take a million coats before it looks right) and it's very tempting to put on a thick coat of paint to speed up the process - but diluted paint dries faster. I look forward to seeing the new photo, this ones a bit blurry. Good luck, and have fun.

maybe try thinnning your paits out, that would help. and, do you know he is missing the shoulderpads?
