Ephrael Stern, Sister of Battle (75mm)
I originally bought her when I was at Sandhurst (British Army's officer training academy) but, being a bit of a busy bee at that time, I put her aside and she languished in my "to be painted" pile for some years, during which I travelled the world, got married and had children (more or less in that order). I finally dug her out a couple of years ago and undercoated her and got cracking but then discovered that I just didn't have the skill and patience to do her the justice I felt she deserved. The thing was, you see, that she came in one piece, and reaching all of the different bits was a complete pain. The truth is that I still don't have the skill to really do this model justice, but I need the cash that I could get from finishing and selling her, so I've finally had a go at finishing her. She's about 99% done, with just a few bits and bobs to do that you can't see in this image. If there's interest, I'll add some more photos of the details when she's all done.
