Warhammer Dark Elf Hydra and Beastmasters
This was a project that had gone unfinished for a while :-) An interesting challenge for me logistically, as the many heads of the hydra kept getting in the way! I knew I wanted to keep a somewhat muted and cooler pallette so that the firey reflections would show up nicely. The bases were a lot of fun to paint, since I usually do not get such a large and uninterrupted surface on which to carve and paint. There are many more pictures (and close ups) in the "Big Scary Hydra" thread in the forums. You can also PM for pics if you like, since the images are way bigger than anything that can be posted here.
