Fir Bolg Standard Bearer

I've only being painting since Christmas, and finally worked up the courage to send in a pic. I love these I-Kore Celtos minis. Any tips for improvement would be great. I know the base is pretty dull, but I don't have a clue how to go about improving it (any advice or websites to help me with this would be very much appreciated!). Thanks. BTW, this website is fantastic, so much inspiration to be had from the incredible work on display.

Not bad at all. The face looks a little unfinished and the metallics and skin could use a little more shading, but overall a good job :)

Funky look'n guy. Everything's good. But his eyes looks unfinished. He needs pupils, black empty sockets, something....
