The Regal Beagle Tavern

This a small watering hole for the village of Dunbrough, come and knock on our door! This building is part of a larger complex of buildings, which includes the Chancelors office, and a townhouse. The original idea was to build on a curved stretch of road, to add variety to the village. This building is attached to the Brownlie Townhouse. I uploaded as two different submissions due the file size constraints. The building itself is built from several different materials. The foundation is pink foam, the upper levels are from foamcore, and balsa. The roof is cardboard shingles, with pink foam chimneys. The broadleaf tree is scratchbuilt from wire, clay, and Woodland Scenics clump folliage. The pine tree is from Bachmann Scene Scapes. All of the flocking, and long grass is from Woodland Scenics. The collapsed stone wall in the garden is individual stone blocks, cut from pink foam. I liked this building, it was kind of a last minute thing, as the original project that I was working on simply wasn't working out. Please comment, I love getting feedback, both positive and negative. Check out the album for more terrain projects.

The stonework is great! You have a great eye for detail. Geat work and fantastic scale.

Mostly display, but they could easily go onto a gaming table. The foam chimneys actually have wooden supports inside of them, so while they are fragile, they aren't as fragile as they look.
