taint elemental
well, not exactly pimping material, but definitely fun on the game mat. these foul beings of pure evil spread corruption wherever they are, both of the mind and body. they exist in the the ancient places of the earth that foster pain, wickedness, death, and magic - reveling in slaughter and debauchery. "bad photograph:" this was a very tough mini to photograph because of the qualities of the paint - high gloss and subtle colorful undertones to a slick black. i decided against a dark background because it made the form of the mini difficult to see. the brighter pictures i have didn't work well because they reveal too much of the undercoats and it ended up looking like rainbow puke. "what was i thinking:" i love the concept and i found a great mini on the bargain shelf! i was going for the look of vile semitransparent oil like substance, and found it very tough to achieve. additionally, these photos showcase my third and least pathetic attempt at OSL (though still pathetic). the end result wasn't anything spectacular, but i still find the effect interesting and it wasn't like anything id ever tried before. my wife thinks this is my strangest mini yet, what do you think? enjoy!
