8.5 Hi bohun, this mini looks very good. You have great technique with the blending, especially on the skin areas, robes, the slave girls etc, - very good work! And good control of the details. I've got a couple of criticisms for you though. First, about the metallics. The metal look neat, but it is missing a lot of the important contrast that comes from great variation in tones over the different surfaces. The metal colour looks a bit too 'the same' all over the armour. When painting with metals, I think it is important to follow just the same principles that you would when painting any other surface. You need very apprent shadows and highlights, with a good sense of the direction of the lighting. And this needs to be emphasised a lot more with your metal I think - the main difference with metals vs. other surfaces, is that the lighting and contrast needs to be more extreme. Another thing you could do with the metal on this mini is to try to use some nuances of different colours in the metal, in order to tie in better with the overall colour scheme. At the moment, the metal does not seem to have much relation to the rest of the mini - ou need to find a way to link it, so that it seems like it fits more with the overall feeling of the mini. I hope that makes sense :D

the light is very good specially in the skin..however..you might put more contrast in the shadows.. vbecause it has more intensity in the lights than the shadows..and it looks strange.. your principal proble is the contrast.. it is difficult to know when you have tos top in the colour progression, but in ypour case, take not taht your lights qre ok.. but ypur sahadows are not at the same level. i hope you will understand what i try to say
