Captain Vrachov (repainted)

I stripped the store-bought mini with acetone ... probably not the best solution : the plactic went rubbery. Once primed however, it was restored to its original firmness; this also made the cleaning up of the mould lines easier. Since the mini comes in several pieces, it's quite easy to reposition to give it a slightly more dynamic pose. The base is a combination of a wooden plinth, slate, plaster, and different plastic pieces. Gloss varnish was used for the eyes, lips, and melted snow. Transparent glue was used for the water running out of the pipe. Hope you like it Chris ;).

AT-43's minis are off most painters radar simply because of the 'pre-painted' nonsense. This is proof positive that they are damn fine looking minis!
