Painted up my cannon from Skull Pass after the big competition at my hobby store. I'm rolling along on my Thunderers right now, and after that I'll have a Slayer, a regiment of Ironbreakers and two regiments of Warriors to paint.
The gold was done with two coats of Shining Gold over black primer, followed by an unthinned coat of Flesh Wash. After the wash dried, I went back and highlighted with Shining Gold. The beards were done in pretty much the same way, except darker colors like black and brown weren't given a wash. The beards have three coats of highlights.
