Hi there, inspired by RAFFY10's awesome Space Marine Squads i had to paint one up too, since i didn't honour the emperor for a long time now. Add to this urge some fear of upcoming exams from university and everything is perfect for some mad painting session (don't think about grades and stuff - just paint^^)...started this guy 3 days ago... I've chosen a Dark Angel Space Marine - build from an old metal one with some plastic parts... and set myself the goal of a strong light/dark contrast for testing...maybe that is the reason why he came out far too bright for a Dark (<--underlined) Angel :)... Hope you like him... Thanks to everyone who leaves a vote or comment - i'll try to honour you back in time... Regards jar PS: Painted for a collector!

Can’t believe I haven’t noticed this dude before now. Great facial detail. I kinda like the brighter green. Have never been a fan of Dark Angels and I’m sure it’s because I just don’t like the green that is supposed to represent them. This fixes that problem and I can really appreciate it now.

I have to say thank you very much on your kind words to this work of mine. I see it too... the green is way too bright for an DARK angel^^ ... learning while trying... next time i do paint one of this chapter up, i hold the thought in the back of my mind to make him so dark that darkness is bright like heaven against his grim dark anger... or something like that... :) - Thanks!
