This is my first attempt at painting. I'm not quite finished with the eyes, and some of the washing sucks, i kinda rushed through that. Also, the base is not quiet finished. Please feel free to leave comments and criticisms, advice is also welcome.

Cool for your first. Definately listen to the advice below, but its looking neat and your picking out the details. Take a little more time and you'll improve no end I reckon. Nice one, keep at it!

Try drilling a hole in the gun and removing the mould lines. Small things, but important. Cheers!
