He is a Shade which is a Scout not an Assassin. I haven't done my assassins yet. They will be much more evil looking. I figured Scouts needed to be able to more blend in to whatever they were around. Also the model doesn't look all diabolical like so many other Dark Elf figures do.
So Anyway this isn't a character but just a rank and file trooper.
I like the finish. Slightly shiny models lose points on CMON, but I know from experience that they look better IRL with a satin varnish finish. The flesh tones and face are really well done. You've also done a good job of shading the clothes. My main gripe is that it looks nothing like a cruel, evil, debauched, murdering Dark Elf assassin. He looks like an Elf Assassin RPG character based on a GW Dark Elf Shade.
