Monochromatic barbarian

A kind of technical exercise; I was willing to paint with few colours. So on one hand, I picked up 3 paint bottles and no one more (white, black, and a kind of brown-orange from the Andrea flesh) even on the base. On the other hand, I took a wonderful sculpt from JAG. And voila :) It took me aaaaaaages to get it over ... but it is a good exercise to improve your layering skills, and to focus on the colour values but not on the colour itself. I enjoyed it a lot, so I tried to go on with freehands hence the idea of parietal art directly inspired by real paintings in various caves... Already willing to test other monochromatic painting... Comments and crits welcome of course.

I've done one with only four colours and that drove me a little crazy, my hat is off to you for this! I love the skin colour, and the rock is really interesting.
