Featherwish Spellsinger
A long-time project of mine, this is a standard Games Workshop Wood Elf Spellsinger. The base is hand-crafted from scratch - the platform is from an old plastic torch, the hill shaped from polystyrene and covered with sand and glue, the roots are real heather stems, the small stone pillars are cut up micropencil tubes, the feathers are from my deceased pet cockatiel (fallen feathers, not plucked, the bird was not harmed). There are some details that are not at visible on the photos, all in all the base isn't quite as dark... As for the colour combination, I wanted a fresh and unusual depiction. Hope you like it.
