Ultra Marine Term Chaplain
I spent a lot of time on this guy, I love this model. I find that it is really difficult to pull off black armor and still show a lot of shading so I spent a lot of time trying to accomplish just that. The gold I did the standard 16 highlight gold technique, the helmet was pretty standard graveyard earth brought up to bleached bone and skull white. I decided to do the scrolls a much darker color than usual and started with snakebite and brought it up with vomit brown. For the base of the model I got to play around with rust techniques on a bit of plasticard. I am really pretty happy with this guy. He is one of my favorites that I got to paint just for fun.
