This is my first mini for my new Haqqislam force. As the faction is based on modified islamic principles i aimed for a blend of present day middle-eastern and medieval saracen influences in the modelling and painting. This resulted in the modern petrol barrels and neon lights contrasting with the rich purple headgear and the golden ceremonial armour and equipment. I've not bought any other figures yet so your C&C needed to help improve the rest of the army!

I like it a lot, especially the oil slick! The painting on the barrels seems rather less smooth than on the mini, tho, and the red clashes wonderfully with his head-dress! However, I do like your use of purple, white and green on the mini itself. :)
