One thing I always try to keep in mind...limit your pallette. To many big spots of different colors almost never looks good. Maybe nix the orange and go with the light blue on the claws and hooves. Keep experimenting!
First make interesting base, use more highlights on the claws and on the boinic armour, Maybe a bit darker flesh could show some more good things. Some blood on the face, maybe some flesh thingy, a space marine helmet or u know. Don't give up paintin' skill needs time :)
