Paint-wise, the smoothness of the blends and the control of light make these look good. I think the bright yellow works best on Master Holt and conveys a sens of richness with the freehand. The bases could be a point of improvement. The details on them could be smaller, washes of browns and greens could give the rock a more natural look, and some sand to simulate gravel could complete the scene.
