Reaper 2761 Skrattle Convertion

It looked like an easy mini to paint (and it was), but I planned to put him in a unit of GW Clanrats so I needed a pose that was not so 'raw'. I sculpted some armour on him (the second thing I ever sculpted), plus some extra stuff and moved his right arm in a position to hold a large Orc sword. I tried to NNM the sword, I think it didn't work. Comments and critism needed, I'd like to improve my skills. Thanks for looking.

hiho, your color choice isnt bad but u have still lot to learn. At first i would gave some water in your colors, cuz otherwise they look too dry. Try to use blendings and inks. Nmm isnt working you need the contrast of black/white. A tip of mine is, if u want blood on the sword i would take dark red and mb some highlights with blood red. And dont forget that you must hold the colours with enough water otherwise they wont be "soft". How to use the different technics you see in forums. Hope this helps you a bit.
