These Forgeworld dreads are not the easiest figs to work with. I had to resculpt the cowlings where the 4 exhaust pipes connect to the back of the torso. In fact, I have had to do that on all the FW dreads I have painted to this point. It was fun to paint something that was not a Grey Knights dreadnought, however! I really enjoy working with this color of deep blue.. mostly based on Reaper Amethyst. :-)

Lovely work mate, nice paint job. I agree with the thing about the cowlings, I had massive issues with the same thing.

This was one of my favorites at GD Chicago '08. The colors, and the blending were great. I wish I could do this!
