Rockjaw - Orc Leader

I painted this figure in 1992, before "life" interfered with my painting hobby, and I didn't pick up a brush again for 15 years. I wish I had participated in Golden Demon way back then -- I think I would have done pretty well. The paint-job for Rockjaw is tame by today's standards, but I think the blending techniques were fairly progressive back in the day. It was all water-based dilution -- no additives or magic wash. I entered Rockjaw in the 2007 Baltimore Golden Demon, and I felt a great consolation that he made First Cut.

Thanks a bunch, Dubayouth! I greatly appreciate the vote of confidence. After I finish painting some diversionary Warhammer 40K units, I'll be tackling my orc & goblin horde again. I look forward to painting my first Rackham minis. I'll post the good ones.

Yeah dude, he's totally rad. I feel he is at least a 7.5 or 8 but I give you 10 to help boost your total score to what it should be. Great mini!
