OOP 2nd Edition Chaplain

I got this mini in a bitz lot auction, and had originally planned on selling him unpainted. However, in my quest to speed up my painting, I decided to give him a go. I ended up really enjoying this sculpt, and the model actually has a lot of nice detail, even down to the breather unit tucked beneath the skull mask. Instead of building colors slowly with bazillions of glazes, I used a lot of washes to speed it up. The black was done with purple-grays, reds, browns, blues, and finished with a little VMC black. All total, I spent a little over 6 hours painting this one.

if i could paint a mini like that that well in the time it took you, i'd be pretty pleased with myself. i think it looks perfect...nice, clean and solid.
