En Français: Voici la première figurine que j'ai peinte pour le plaisir. J'ai principalement travaillé avec des lavis afin de me familiariser avec les encres. Je suis assez content du résultat, surtout la peau. Tout commentaires et critiques sont les bienvenus; le but est de m'améliorer, pas de flatter mon ego. Merci. In English: Here is the first mini I've been painting for display. I worked mainly with using washes in order to get used to ink. I'm fairly happy with the result, especially the skin. Comments and criticisms are welcome; I'm here to improve, not to be pleased. Thanks.

I like the skin and the bone as a start. It's all a good start but while the shading is done well, there's seems to be a lack of highlights. The metal skull ornaments, the sword pommel and the wood of the staff all seem a little flat. The bone and the bandages seem to be a little too close in color, too, for being such different materials. Not only would building up some highlights give depth to the flat areas, but going in different directions with the highlight colors on the bone and bandages could really help separate the two, as well. A bright bot of reflection on the eyes would help give them life, too. You should definitely be happy with your results so far, but I think just a little bit more could really take him to the next level.
