The unfortunate end of Harry the Beastman.

What initially was done as a small little project to make use of at least one of my Beastmen plastics and to have a go at the new skeletons turned out to be a little more complicated! This was mainly down to the quality of the moulding on the beastman - I adore the figures, but they do seem plagued by them! I'm pleased with how it turned out really, it's only on a 40mm base, so tiny enough for me, but I'm most pleased with Harry's tongue, which adds a little bit of humour to the piece. Also fairly happy with the little green stream, which is only a bit of gloss varnish with some ink in, but gives a little bit of extra colour to a piece which is intended to be fairly monochrome in hues! Bigger pics can be found here, for those interested: http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh287/Joekarame/Beastskeleton/ Thanks for looking!

Just like to say that this little piece got me my first Finalist Pin at GD2008...in the Open category (so...no chance of getting a demon there ;) ).

Great job of telling a story in a compact space. The painting is very nice also. I like the shading on the bone particularly.
