These three are the start of my newest army. I have posted them in the forums and I am acting on some suggestiong to do a little more shading on the blue areas. Any other suggestions/comments would be great.
Thanks Wren, will do! More shading and more highlights, especially the metal! Photography is for sure a weak point, so I'll look at getting some better light set up.
6.5 Very solid painting, but nothing really stands out and pops. (I suspect the photography is bringing down things a little, if you're photographing on a white background you can end up washing out the minis a little, but this photo also seems to need more lighting.) You could still go deeper with the shading, particularly on the metals, and also bring in a few brighter highlights to edges and as hotspots on things you want to have shine and so on, like the hair and beards. I like the patchy snow look on the bases and the drum looks great.
