I didn't actually use a lot of protective spray. it think the shininess comes from using too much ink on the sash and belt :( think i might but the new GW washes to use. Yeah i see what you mean about the hat it does seem a bit fake. He's been out on the battlefield for a long time, in the thick of it, and it doesn't have any weathering on it!!

The only reason I gave this an 8 is because of a few things. 1 it looks like you used too much protective spray (evident on the belt and sash). 2 different angles would help judge. 3 the hat looks like it needs something to make it "real" in comparison to the bottom of his cloak (realy nice job there btw)
