Dark Angels Master of the Ravenwing UK GD entry

I accquired this figure during the year and toyed around with how it could be displayed a bit more dynamically. After throwing some ideas about I settled on the idea of him swooping through a cathedral / chapel / whatever, rose window set in a mostly destroyed wall. On the whole I am quite happy with the piece. I think you get a feel for him steaming through the ruins using his skill to cut as close to the ruins as possible without actually touching them. I entered this figure in the UK GD 2008 competition but didn't make the cut. Any comments welcome.

i like the slanted pose but I"ve never been a fan of diorama bases, how does it fit into my army or how can you play with them. taking that aside, a stand alone figure I love it. extremely good blending with a difficult colour ie cream. the shading on the book really makes the individual pages stand out
