Marneus Calgar - bright background

Hi there, uff, i really got it. The mini i will not paint again for sure. It is a great sculpt somehow. A ton of energy in that one, but i really got in trouble with my way of painting minis because of that outstanding, let me say ill detail work over the whole mini... ahhh! Still a bit shocked when thinking back :)... This is my way of this guy. But it really has been a hard way to the idea i had in mind while doing this guy. A hard way full of lessons. I will not paint him again, if i do shoot me please^^... Most problems i had bringing the focus up to the face from all the details everywhere and here and there and... Guess because this not really happens i feel not as good as i thought i could do, when finished him up... for sure a hard way with great lessons in experience... Hope you like him - Thanks to everyone who leaves a vote or comment - i'll try to honour you back in time... Regards jar PS: Painted for a collector! Upcoming diorama with him and 3 other Ultras in work... Taken picture on a very light blue/looking white and a black background - which colour you looking at? That is your part ;)...
