Emperor's Storm Captain - Converted GD Model

Here's a little bitz-box style conversion based off the GD '08 Space Marine model. I decided to play with metallics again, but I think I still prefer NMM. All metallics were done using GW's Chainmail for a base. The golds were glazed with ochres, greens, browns, and various inks over the Chainmail base coat. C&C is most welcome!

Ya'll flatter me...I appreciate the kind words. I view this piece as a somewhat unassuming display of subtle advancements I've made over the years. I feel like I didn't do enough...like it's a little too plain. The sword and the eagles are dismal at best...but I'm my own harshest critic, as I'm sure you all are as well. After this mini, I vowed to ignore my metallic paints...but ya'll are very encouraging. Just to let you know, it's very reassuring, and a real confidence boost to read positive comments on my weakest techniques.
