Clal-Chk Sniper
Sculpted by Lu Lee. The painting was mine though. It was done almost entirely with Reaper master series paints and the new GW inks. They worked really well for me. The figure was primed in black and built up with light coats, glazed down with "devlan mud" and "gryphonne sepia" and some purple paint (golden fluid acrylic) here and there. Most of the colors are mixtures of bone, ivory, dark green, and green ochre, with almost all highlights done with bone to tie everything together. The eyes were inspired by those from a colorful crab of the Galapagos, so this guy is part bug, part crab, and all grumpy arthropod alien.
