Dire Mushrooms : Spores of Corruption
"Under the pale moon, the spores of corruption fed upon its rays and the magic of the ancient Indian grounds to spawn these four children of darkness." I entered these in the Wyrd Rotten Harvest IV contest. The monotone/monochromatic atmosphere was on purpose to give the impression that all light was being sucked out by the mushrooms. The mushrooms have gloss varnish arround their eyes, mouths, and feet to empathise moisture. The green background was to mirror the glowing eyes, pustules, and slime.
