nice model. I would brighten up your white on his helmet and the green glow from the orb a little, also im not sure but i think i can see a mould line on his orb arm as well. Hope that helps :)

If you're trying a light effect it is very important that the lightsource is the brightest thing. So make the ball a lot lighter and it should work better. For metal try the new citadel washes. Basecoat in Mithril silver for example and then just add some layers of devlan mud/badab black. Works a charm for quick metals. Finally rehighlight on the edges with mithril silver again. Sven
