The individual details on this mini are fantastic, but there are problems with the scale, pose and proportion. Standing, the rider is taller than the horse, which makes it look more like a pony. The horse's head is too big, and the pose is not quite right. It's like the rider was sitting upright and the horse just leaned back. She should lean forward a bit more. I hate to add those negative comments, because if you look at any single piece of the figure (face, arm, leg, bag, etc), it's stunningly well done.
Gale - I am so imrpessed with your sculpting ability - magnificent. Only harsh comment is the elevation on the cape is just not consistent - the cape is taught from strong wind, but is above horizontal and therefore cannot be taught but should be more chaotic and furled, and the horse rear legs are just a little understanded - me thinks a war-horse should have more solid legs in the reear - just slightly mind, you dont want this to end up being a work horse !
