When I saw this mini at first time - I had very strong association with Hindu goddess Kali. So I tried to paint her in colours of the King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah). Comments and critics are most welcome. :)

That was the basic idea for this scene - Naga in the jungle. About the patina - her swords are already black shadowed, but perhaps they should be more. I'll try to add some of turquoise glaze on the weapon, this can fit to the turquoise gem stones. Thanks a lot for the comment - it helps me. :)

Lovely work on the skin... i guess the base is a bit too full, so your paintwork is not given the chance to be focused on... nothing serious here, just a bit in the height of the back ... nah, i don't know, somehow it turns out really cool, like she is standing in a jungle facing intruders... Nervermind my weird thoughts... Maybe a bit patina on the metals might have looked pretty cool... just thin Hawk Tourquese with a tiny tip of white with water (thin means in this case make it near clearly, so you can see what is beneath it, table or something)... then dip your brush in it, asap you go to a tissue and let it suck all the water from it... in the brush are thinned pigments left which you can use to pull as a glace over the metals or on those parts where you want it... surely it needs a bit of training of the right thinning, but 3~4 times done on a test object might get it... Nice work - the face is beautiful... Keep on happy painting! Regards jar
