try using a fine drill then cut the fingers carefully with a craft knife and use a bit of green stuff to tidy it up, thats what i did on my terminator vs genestealer (with the power fist)
You are right, that grip has been a constant torture ... xDxD
did not have much time and could not convert either figure.
