this is my first necron destroyer, i tryed to keep it simple. just 3 colors, 1 highlight, two washes. im not sure how to paint the base yet, any suggestions
I have to say i like the painting it is efficient and that is what a robot army would be, after all they are out to destroy the unives they wouldn,t need flashy colors. maby for the bases a fallen soilder that the scrabs are flying over like the scrabes for the movie the mummy. Next what game mat or terrain style are you mostly going to be playing on or is your favorite that is the color scheme you want I think a sandy and concrete look would make the units pop out off the base.
Simple, but effective. They do look like proper necrons, that's for sure!
Regarding the base, it could perhaps be cool to use some bitz on it? If you're playing another army, or has ha mate who does, you can perhaps model and paint up a dead enemy model on the base? Some bigger rocks or some barbed wire could look cool as well.
