Necron Lord

My 1st model working with OSL (Object Source Lighting). Might not be the best, but since it's my 1st I can only get better... The lord was painted up to be old and rusty then the OLS was added to it as an after thought. Also the Rod on his staff of light was painted with Glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint, doesn't add much to it in the light but it's kind of a cool little knick knack if u put the model in the dark.

i really like the overall look, but still some things to improve.id say that the osl effect would be better if the orb in his hand would be brighter and if the the blue on his chest would nget an additional highlight. the green on his feet should be a bit brighter as well because hes very close to the crystal. hope that wasnt too harsh and maybe turn out as helpful ^_^

Usually I'm not that kind of nitpicker, but I think it's OSL (Object Source Lighting). The crystal OSL is fine, while the orb's is to dim in my opinion. Besides from that the overall look is very "drybrusched" (especially on the crystals themselves).
